Booking the entire house

Brook Farm Cottage offers charming, comfortable and cosy en suite accommodation which has been recently renovated to a high standard. It is situated on the village green in the peaceful village of Hinton-in-the-Hedges, South Northamptonshire, 15 minutes from Silverstone and 35 minutes from Oxford. There is off-street parking on the gated, gravelled drive.

Brook Farm Cottage offers 2 spacious en suite double rooms.  There is also a pretty single room available which has a handmade French single bed and enjoys views over the garden. It has a separate bathroom along the corridor. All rooms enjoy free WiFi, tea and coffee-making facilities and hair dryers. Double rooms also have televisions. There  are lots of books and magazines to read in the rooms.

David & Emma have lived in the beautiful village of Hinton-in-the-Hedges since 2017 with their Lurcher,  Gracie, and Spaniel, Dottie. They enjoy travelling and have a special affinity with the Greek islands. In addition,  they love cooking,  walking their dogs, theatre, sport, and are competitive backgammon and scrabble players.

Hinton-in-the-Hedges is a sleepy, tranquil village yet is only 10 minutes from Junction 10 of the M40 and 5 minutes from the A43, which links to the M1.

It is a special village. All the houses are characterful, built with wonderful old Northamptonshire stone. There is nothing to offend the eye. There are pleasant countryside walks from the house. If you don't want to walk so far, the delightful village pub, The Crewe Arms, is only 30 metres from the cottage. There is a quaint Norman church opposite.

Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit is close by and, for the British Grand Prix, a shuttle bus service runs from Hinton Airfield on race day - a 10 minute walk across the fields!  If you are feeling intrepid, the Airfield also hosts the Hinton Skydiving Club and the Banbury Glider Club.

Other nearby attractions include Bicester Designer Outlet Village, Stowe Landscape Gardens, Oxford and the Cotswolds. The local town of Brackley is a 5 minute drive with its range of shops, restaurants and pubs. The Brackley Antique Centre is worth a visit for those looking to pick up a bargain.

In addition to the Crewe Arms, other pubs and eateries within a ten minute drive include:

The Red Lion, Evenley; The Rose & Crown, Charlton; The White Horse, King's Sutton; Limes Farm, Farthinghoe;  Nicholsons, North Aston, amongst others.
